Preparing for Prom

Jack Nash’s Top Tips To Getting Prepped for Prom!

It’s that time of the year! Prom prep season is officially upon us. If you or someone you know is heading to prom this year, make sure you share this information with them!

Preparing for prom can feel like an easy and exciting task at first, but without some structured planning can really get overwhelming! To make this a little easier- here are Jack Nash’s top tips to getting prepared for prom!

1. Decide if you are going with a date or a group of friends.

There are a few factors to deciding how you will attend your prom. If you decide to go as a group with some friends, then your focus is more on what you are wanting to wear and maybe even do something fun with your group.

If you are going with a date, traditionally you would want to coordinate outfits so that if one of you has a pop of colour the other would share that colour in theirs.

2. Determine what YOU want to wear

Whether you are going with a group or a date, think about what type of suit will make your prom dreams come true. We have a variety of two piece, formal three piece suites in a variety of colors and styles. Having an idea of what you are looking for can make finding the perfect attire a breeze.

3. Book your consultation with us

Getting your suit customized to your specifications, preference, sizes and style is going to take a little bit of time to prepare. Getting your consultation in early will make sure that your outfit is the perfect, comfortable fit. We carry a wide variety of colours and styles that make customization the name of the game.

Don’t forget, even though we don’t sell prom dresses we would be happy to tailor a dress to fit your needs.

4. Bring your friends!

Prom is the biggest social event of the high school career! Booking an appointment for you and your group allows this to be a bonding experience while also seeing what your friends are wearing and what they think looks great on you!

Now that you have your suit and outfit needs figured out, here are a few other aspects you may want to add to your to do list!

  • Book a limo/transportation
  • Determine who will be driving
  • Flowers/boutonniere
  • Shoes

I Always Get Compliments

"I’ve dealt with Dave for many, many years. The service has always been excellent. I’ve always walked out with a suit I felt comfortable in; I’ve always felt comfortable with the prices I’ve paid. He always has top quality suits… and I always get compliments. I’ve always been very satisfied with the service I got here at Jack Nash for many, many years."
